Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gravy Production Specialist to join our team at Simmons Pet Food. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient production of high-quality gravies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret batching sheets and production documents to determine ingredient quantities and order.
  • Stage ingredients for batching, clean totes, and ensure accurate recording of production data.
  • Perform batching, weighing, and labeling of ingredients, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure the operator stays 15 batches ahead according to the production schedule.
  • Conduct general cleaning of the area, including maintenance of the gravy room, filtration system, and dry ingredient area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Machine operation experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience, with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Working Conditions

Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Physically move bags of ingredients and totes weighing up to pounds. Wear steel-toed shoes, ear plugs, hair net, and safety glasses.
