Product Development Specialist

Sedona Staffing is partnering with a leading custom power transmission component manufacturer to fill a key role in their engineering team.
This position involves collaborating with customers to understand their technical requirements, developing parts for manufacturing, and consulting on technical matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of gear and shaft manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards, as well as experience with CAD/CAM software, gear analysis tools, and ERP systems.
Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models to determine manufacturing requirements and process flows, communicating with suppliers and vendors, and providing technical support to ensure alignment between customer requirements and production capabilities.
Additionally, the successful candidate will provide input on process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, and relevant experience in gear production methods, including cutting, grinding, and heat treatment.
