About the Role

Cornell University is seeking a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician II to join our team in the Anesthesia Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide optimal anesthesia care to our diverse patient population, including emergency, specialty, and general practice cases.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with board-certified anesthesiologists and LVTs to deliver high-quality anesthesia care
  • Focus on providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of DVM students and other staff members
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience in veterinary anesthesia or a related field
  • New York State licensure or eligibility to become licensed in NYS
  • Interest in ongoing career growth and advanced skill development
