About the Role

VCA Colonial Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our surgery team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including scrubbing and instrument handling
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including anesthesia and positioning
  • Monitor patients during surgery and provide vital signs
  • Assist with post-operative care, including recovery and discharge
  • Communicate effectively with clients and hospital staff
