Job Title: Financial Reporting and Consolidations Manager

The Financial Reporting and Consolidations Manager will play a critical role in centralizing the financial consolidation function, overseeing processes related to the monthly accounting close cycle, company-wide consolidation, international accounting, internal controls, and monthly and quarterly/annual financial reporting.

This position will be responsible for identifying improvements needed in processes and controls, as well as understanding the complexities of international acquisitions and implementing process improvements and best practices to meet the challenges of these acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage intercompany eliminations and processes companywide through collaboration with finance teams at various brand locations.
  • Coordinate intercompany profit elimination processes related to international subsidiaries.
  • Implement processes and controls in the areas of consolidation, equity, and international accounting.
  • Own the processes of intercompany accounting, including US GAAP adjustments for foreign locations, equity accounting, and consolidations.
  • Coordinate investment and equity matching, including intercompany investment and loan transactions, and related currency translation impacts.
  • Ensure accuracy of equity accounting in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
  • Lead accounting for US GAAP adjustments related to international subsidiaries, including accounting for intangible assets and purchase accounting adjustments.
  • Assist with accounting and integration activities related to M&A.
  • Own and maintain implementation of and compliance with SOX controls over responsible areas, primarily related to consolidation.
  • Responsible for the oversight of the month-end close process, including completion and/or review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statements.
  • Actively participate in efforts to improve close processes, automation projects, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree required.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Workiva preferred.
  • CPA preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail.
