Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, equipment, and dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, dishes, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
  • Assist in food preparation procedures, including scraping and pre-rinsing food from dirty dishes and washing pots, pans, and trays.
  • Complete all assigned prep work, including removing trash and garbage to the dumpster area and washing work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors.
  • Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine, and perform other job duties assigned by a manager to ensure the effective and orderly operations of the restaurant.

Qualifications
  • Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
  • Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on both high and low shelves.
  • Works indoors (90%), outdoors (10%).
  • Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
  • Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others.
