**Lifespan's Pediatric Behavioral Health Emergency Services (LPBHES) Department**

We are seeking a highly skilled LICSW-Clinician to join our team at Lifespan's Pediatric Behavioral Health Emergency Services (LPBHES) Department at Bradley Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive clinical services to children, adolescents, and families in need of emergency triage, evaluation, and treatment.

This part-time position requires working different shifts as service needs require. You will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, providing brief treatment, and making clinical referrals when necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with other members of the Brown University Health PBHES Team and participate in research or other specialized activities as arranged with your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency triage evaluation brief treatment and clinical referrals to children, adolescents, and families
  • Conduct clinical assessments across Brown University Health emergency service sites
  • Manage the disposition of cases seen through the Kids*Link emergency service
  • Collaborate with other members of the Brown University Health PBHES Team
  • Crisis intervention with patients and families awaiting inpatient admissions or assessed as candidates for intensive outpatient care

Requirements

  • Masters degree in any human services field required such as social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited graduate school
  • Current independent license from State of Rhode Island required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span
  • Significant experience and/or training work with children, adolescents, and families
