We are seeking a Clinical Therapist to join our team at Thrive Behavioral Health.

Job Summary:

Provide assessment evaluations, outpatient short-term psychotherapy, and linkage with community service agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial assessment and intake evaluation in client’s home.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, or group counseling within the scope of one’s competencies.
  • Crisis intervention.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and/or insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies, and individuals in the client’s network of care.
  • Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up, and aftercare.
  • Provide education, training, and modeling in basic daily living skills, social, or parenting skills.
  • Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
  • Coordinate community resources, transportation for client, and referrals to appropriate resources including services within Thrive.
  • Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation, and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage at all times.
  • Accompany clients to community appointments, provide advocacy as needed.
  • Schedule and maintain client hours sufficient to achieve individual/program billing targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period.
  • Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe his/her responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.

  • Present a neat appearance in proper attire and identification as required by the position, department, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Work the hours and/or shifts assigned, and begin and end on time.
