Providence Health & Services RN Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an RN Fellow in the Intermediate Medical Care Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an RN to transition into a new specialty through a structured curriculum, experienced preceptors, and hands-on learning. As an RN Fellow, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a guided transition program to develop skills and knowledge in the Intermediate Medical Care Unit
  • Work closely with experienced preceptors to gain hands-on experience and receive feedback
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to achieve career goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience (new to specialty)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in area of specialty
