Position Summary
The Recall Operations Specialist will oversee a designated territory, ensuring that all cases related to critical recalls, such as Takata airbag initiatives, are efficiently managed and resolved. This role is pivotal in closing cases on targeted vehicles within the assigned geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field canvassing, including in-person visits to close cases with the necessary documentation.
• Utilize the MarketSource Dashboard to monitor case assignments and closures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on designated initiatives.
• Clearly communicate to customers about available incentives, benefits, and programs related to the initiatives.
• Complete and upload all required information according to specified guidelines.
• Employ mapping and route optimization tools to enhance productivity.
• Educate consumers on the critical nature of recalls and initiatives.
• Address consumer hesitance and resistance to successfully close cases.
• Foster relationships and collaborate closely with assigned businesses and field team members in the designated markets.
• Conduct investigative work to verify the accuracy of outcomes reported from calls.
• Utilize databases and other resources to gather supporting documentation that substantiates or updates case outcomes.
• Identify the location, ownership, and status of targeted vehicles using available online resources.
• Make follow-up calls to confirm phone numbers and/or schedule appointments for the field team.
• Document research results in the designated database as instructed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Commitment to meeting activity and reporting standards.
• Proven experience in customer interactions through various communication channels.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in analyzing information to develop territory action plans that align with business goals.
• Capacity to make independent decisions that positively influence business outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including business personnel and community leaders.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience; industry-specific background is advantageous.
• Reliable transportation is essential for performing job functions within the assigned area.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
Additional Job Requirements:
• Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
• Regularly ascend and descend stairs.
