Medical Biller Job Description

A leading healthcare organization in Lexington, KY is seeking a skilled Medical Biller to support their revenue cycle team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post daily patient incoming mail payments
  • Maintain professional demeanor with patients, caregivers, physicians, and co-workers
  • Print and review patient statements
  • Answer patient balance inquiries
  • Work closely with Revenue Cycle Supervisor and Insurance Specialist
  • Assist with front-office duties as needed
  • Observe strict patient confidentiality
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in medical billing
  • Strong knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9, and ICD-10
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
