Medical Biller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to support our client's revenue cycle team in Lexington, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post daily patient incoming mail payments
  • Maintain professional demeanor with patients, caregivers, physicians, and co-workers
  • Print and review patient statements
  • Answer patient balance inquiries
  • Work closely with Revenue Cycle Supervisor and Insurance Specialist
  • Assist with front-office duties as needed
  • Observe strict patient confidentiality

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in medical billing
  • Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9, ICD-10, and medical coding
  • Experience with EHR/Epic and claims processing
