We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at American Traveler. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and interpreting images to aid in diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanners
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Interpret images to aid in diagnosis, including identifying abnormalities and reporting findings to physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Current professional license as required by the state
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions
