Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
  • Market Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about trends in second-hand footwear and accessories, making informed purchasing decisions to meet customer demand.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor market trends and consumer preferences to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess stock and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Assess and ensure the quality of second-hand items purchased, implementing inspection processes to verify that products meet company standards before they reach the sales floor.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments to align purchasing strategies with business goals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to second-hand goods.
