Job Description

Enchanted Rock Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the management and integrity of all company and customer-owned inventory across numerous fixed and mobile locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems to maintain optimal stock levels for internal customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts, adjusting inventory policies as needed.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with inventory records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and trends.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track inventory movements, manage stock records, and forecast future needs.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of inventory records.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to forecast demand and plan inventory purchases.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to enhance inventory management processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory management and reduce costs.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Supervise and train inventory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and development.
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Analyze inventory turnover and adjust strategies to optimize inventory levels and financial performance.
  • Address and resolve inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes of variances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) as an Inventory Manager within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced inventory management tools.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
