Job Title: Materials Coordinator

Adecco USA is seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team in Aurora, IL. As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to proper channels
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Prepare bills and invoices
  • Manage distribution and shipment budgets
  • Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 5+ years prior experience with power tools and standard construction tools
  • 5+ years prior experience with powered industrial trucks, i.e. forklifts, order pickers, powered pallet jacks, etc.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication
  • Quick critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent customer service and client relation skills
  • Good Collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Advanced data analysis and data visualization
  • Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes
  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
