Duties and Responsibilities:
- Model the company's core values and operating principles at all times, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Department of Labor policies, Company policies and procedures, and Center Operating Procedures.
- Transport students and staff to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, and other destinations, using company vehicles and equipment.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of all company vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues to the Lead Driver/Dispatcher or Facilities Manager.
- Supervise students on various activities, such as recreation, medical appointments, shopping trips, and other events.
- Perform duties of a maintenance worker and/or custodian as needed, including ground keeping, snow removal, and custodial duties.
- Attend required staff training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Minimum: A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to fluently read and write English. A valid driver's license and commercial driver's license with passenger bus endorsement are also required. The ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate and operate power tools is preferred.
Preferred: Six months of work-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred. A HSE/GED/HSD is also preferred.
