Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at LabCorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical tests
  • Enter patient information into our database accurately and efficiently
  • Process billing information and collect payments as needed
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist (2 years required)
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
