Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The successful candidate will manage IT system infrastructure and related processes, providing support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining STE/STN compliance
  • Managing accounts, network rights, access to systems and equipment, and implementing security procedures and tools
  • Configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing/loads operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
  • Managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
  • Providing assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
  • Providing support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
  • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Providing in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Providing detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Providing support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
  • Configuring and installing systems hardware or software and maintaining server and domain security requirements

Requirements:

  • Ten (10) years' experience as a System Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience with the following technologies: LINUX, Windows, Visual Basic, Python, Virtualization, Ansible, and containers such as Docker

Security Clearance:

Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
