Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team at Leidos. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining STE/STN compliance
  • Managing accounts, network rights, access to systems and equipment, and implementing security procedures and tools
  • Configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems and installing/loads operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, and configuring network components
  • Providing support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remaining involved in the resolution process
  • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning
  • Providing in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Providing detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets

Requirements:

  • Ten (10) years' experience as a System Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience with the following technologies: LINUX, Windows, Visual Basic, Python, Virtualization, Ansible, and containers such as Docker

Security Clearance:

Must possess active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
