Job Summary

North American Lighting Inc., a leading manufacturer of automotive exterior lighting, is seeking a skilled Trainer to join our team. As a Trainer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our manufacturing employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our manufacturing employees
  • Conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions for supervisors and other trainers
  • Analyze performance improvement needs through individual interviews, focus groups, and surveys
  • Create training programs to address identified gaps in employee skills and knowledge
  • Modify existing training programs to reflect process changes and developments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of related manufacturing and/or training experience
  • An associate's degree in a manufacturing or organizational development discipline, plus 3-5 years of related experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or organizational development discipline, plus 0-2 years of related experience
  • Prior experience conducting training sessions in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and teaching and instruction for individuals and groups
