Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the efficient daily operations of the distribution center (DC).
  • Assist in achieving overall financial targets of the DC in relation to budget.
  • Foster a culture of trust, open communication, and teamwork.
  • Ensure alignment with strategic goals and convey the organization's mission and values to the team.
  • Engage with team members through regular meetings.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports at least bi-monthly.
  • Ensure compliance with operational processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain the DC to meet company standards for appearance, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the DC.
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer service challenges.
  • Verify driver payroll for accuracy.
  • Conduct necessary physical inventory counts; review discrepancies and implement corrections.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate safety equipment and uphold a safe working environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow all company policies and execute standards for appearance and functionality, ensuring proper brand representation.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications on time.
  • Implement performance improvement plans for team members, and manage disciplinary actions as per company policy.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in monthly DC-wide meetings to discuss organizational successes and opportunities, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Assist Loss Prevention with audits related to safety and loss prevention.
  • May be responsible for training and retraining team members and contract employees on safety protocols.
  • May oversee employee time records and approve leave requests according to policy.
  • May participate in the recruitment and hiring process for potential DC team members.
  • May manage the DC in the absence of the DC leader.
  • May assist in coaching conversations and administering disciplinary actions.
  • May lead or participate in daily stand-up meetings at the start of each shift.
  • May play an active role in onboarding and training new DC team members.
  • Execute company initiatives and other tasks as requested by supervisors.
  • Enhance job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas for optimizing team and departmental performance.

Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers, reaching with arms, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Compensation:
Up to $66,560 annually
