As a Hotel Night Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting final verifications of room charges and transactions prior to the audit, generating audit reports, and ensuring compliance with established audit protocols.
  • Preparing summaries for credit card transactions, ensuring approval checks, balancing reports as required by management, and accurately posting room and tax revenues along with any additional charges.
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments and charges as needed, efficiently handling the hotel switchboard, and providing various guest services, which may include transportation arrangements and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and complaints, serving as a resource for hotel guests, performing clerical duties, and executing security checks and patrols as necessary.
  • Ensuring daily reservation checks are completed to prevent revenue loss from unsold rooms and to avoid overbooking, as well as preparing coffee and breakfast options for guests when applicable.
  • Being well-versed in all emergency protocols related to accidents, fires, and other incidents as detailed in the "Safety & Security" manual, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the hotel layout, maintaining accurate records of guest accommodations, and effectively communicating essential information to colleagues and management.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor, Assistant Hotel Manager, or Hotel Manager.
