As a Hotel Night Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting final verifications of room charges and various transactions prior to the audit, generating comprehensive audit reports and records in accordance with established audit protocols.
  • Preparing credit card summaries and ensuring transaction approvals, compiling and reconciling all necessary reports for management, and accurately posting room and tax revenues along with any additional charges.
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments and charges as required, answering the hotel switchboard promptly and courteously, and providing additional guest services, which may encompass airport transportation, minor maintenance tasks, and supplementary room services.
  • Addressing guest issues and complaints, acting as an information resource for hotel patrons, performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, and potentially conducting security checks and hall patrols.
  • Executing daily reservation audits to prevent revenue loss from unsold rooms and to avoid overbooking, and preparing coffee and breakfast offerings for guests when applicable.
  • Being well-versed in all emergency protocols regarding accidents, fires, bomb threats, guest illnesses, and other incidents as detailed in the "Safety & Security" manual, possessing in-depth knowledge of the hotel's layout, ensuring accurate accounting of all guest accommodations, and relaying important information to colleagues and management.
  • Completing additional tasks as directed by the Front Desk Supervisor, Assistant Hotel Manager, or Hotel Manager.
