About the Role:
The Director of Admissions and Operations will play a crucial role in leading the admissions team at Orchard View Manor, a skilled nursing facility managed by Athena Health Care Systems. This position requires a strong leader who can coordinate admissions, implement marketing strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate admissions to meet budgeted census projections
- Represent the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources
- Coordinate admission activities and documentation with all departments
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Act as a liaison between the facility and community groups and agencies
- Work with administrative staff to develop and implement a marketing plan
- Utilize sales and marketing techniques to maintain a budgeted census mix
- Assure detailed completion of admission, discharge, and transfer records
Requirements:
- Minimum of a degree in Marketing/Sales or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in an Admission Director position in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living facility
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations as they pertain to admissions
