Job Summary

Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Program Operations to oversee the coordination of all aspects of refugee resettlement and case management programming. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operations management and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for all.

The Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities, while meeting the agency's strategic goals and outcomes. This includes establishing relationships with external stakeholders, partner agencies, and our communities, as well as improving operations by developing structures, streamlining procedures, and increasing effectiveness by implementing proven best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a preferred Master's Degree relevant to operations management, and at least five years of supervisory/management experience. Refugee Resettlement experience is a plus. The candidate should be able to lead and positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization, and have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks.
