We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Quality Equipment, a leading John Deere dealer with 36 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Job Summary:The Sales Representative will be responsible for representing the Company for the sale of machinery to customers within a local geographic sales area. This includes maintaining current product knowledge, prospecting for new customers, and maintaining company assets and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide solutions through Quality Equipment products and support.
- Prospect for new customers in the local geographic area, targeting different customer segments such as commercial mowing, governmental, and agricultural.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, including completing all required documents and maintaining good, usable, and current condition of all manuals, price lists, and other documents.
- Have a good knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the item and service provided by the dealership.
- Work closely with the store sales team and supervisor to manage the work schedule and maintain full store coverage.
- Understand, support, and promote products and services from all departments of Quality Equipment, including parts, service, and IS.
- Account Manager for key customer accounts, developing a deep understanding of each customer's business, needs, challenges, and goals.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with PC, online content, and manuals.
- Agricultural background preferred.
- Ability to squat, bend, climb, lift, reach, twist, stand, and sit.
