Position Overview:

The Vice President of Business Innovation and Transformation is responsible for spearheading the strategic transformation initiatives that enhance service offerings for our Military clientele, beneficiaries, and healthcare providers. This role involves evaluating potential partnerships both internally and externally to foster collaborative efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the transformation strategy and execution plans to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to design and implement multi-year transformation projects that cater to various stakeholders.
  • Act as a key influencer within the organization, leveraging a deep understanding of interrelated capabilities across the Military segment.
  • Champion change and continuous improvement while nurturing strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Make critical decisions regarding the rollout of new programs and large-scale projects that align with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the development of a comprehensive 'Convener of Care' strategy, focusing on clinical, operational, and cultural transformation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive innovative experiments that facilitate transformation across Humana Military.
  • Advise senior leaders on strategic matters related to clinical innovation and operational improvements.
  • Identify and resolve complexities and risks associated with transformation initiatives.
  • Assess process performance for customer and provider journeys, proposing opportunities for enhancement.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and inclusivity while mentoring talent across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead agile teams and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in management consulting or transformation.
  • Knowledge of the medical health insurance industry.
  • MBA or a Master’s degree is advantageous.
