This role is pivotal in overseeing project execution, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving key business development initiatives. Our Project Leaders play an essential role in guiding projects through all phases of the initiative lifecycle. In this position, you will act as the lead for a Federal RIM Advisory engagement, which includes support for the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You will manage a team of consultants and RIM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver comprehensive enterprise records management solutions. Your expertise in records management policy, guidance, and training development will be crucial. Responsibilities will encompass defining program requirements, collaborating with a large Federal agency, and ensuring ongoing compliance with records management standards across the organization. A solid understanding of best practices for managing both paper and electronic records is essential.

As the Project Leader, you will serve as the primary liaison for Savan Group within the project team. Your responsibilities will include organizing team meetings, synchronizing project timelines, and communicating project status to stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee project financials, business growth, and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures for the records management program.
  • Evaluate the existing records management program and propose enhancements.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders and team members on complex enterprise records management challenges.
  • Supervise the implementation of records inventories, file plans, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with paper records management across various facilities.
  • Coordinate the configuration of electronic records management controls.
  • Identify and train records liaisons as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress, manage resources, and maintain quality documentation throughout all project phases.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 6-9+ years of experience in project management.
  • 2 years of experience supporting a Records Management Program Office or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and business writing abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Federal records management laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in translating requirements into compliance actions.
  • Familiarity with electronic records management technology solutions.
  • Previous experience in developing policy and procedure documentation.
  • Experience with records inventories and file plans.
  • Ability to quickly understand key business processes.
  • Experience in IT PMO or CIO support.
