Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary
The Service Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the dealership's environment is welcoming and organized while providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and park vehicles within the dealership to maintain an orderly flow of traffic.
- Transport vehicles to and from service lanes, service areas, and parking facilities as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, driveways, and walkways.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers and directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Assist the sales and service teams with various tasks, including replenishing vehicle fluids and performing minor vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly report any incidents to a supervisor.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical capability to operate and maneuver vehicles.
- Attention to detail to uphold the dealership's professional image.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Authorization to work in the USA is required.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment compliance checks, including drug testing and background verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role or within the automotive sector is advantageous.
- Basic vehicle knowledge is beneficial.
Compensation:
- $21.00 per hour
*The Porter Position includes a pay scale with a base hourly rate of twenty-one dollars.
Work Schedule:
- FULL TIME
- 5 days a week with 2 days off
- Weekends required
- Service Drive Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
