Job Title: Test Automation Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles to join a Fortune 500 semiconductor company headquartered in Santa Clara, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test scenarios and procedures to comprehensively assess Active Safety functions and L2 (and above) autonomous driving. Your expertise in self-driving testing or ADAS testing will be invaluable in ensuring the safety and reliability of our autonomous vehicle systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test scenarios and procedures to assess Active Safety functions and L2 (and above) autonomous driving
  • Independently bring up vehicle, perform in-car testing, and record test results
  • Provide reliable and consistent judgment of product quality from the perspective of end user based on evidence collected from tests
  • Coordinate with operations team to arrange logistics for testing, including the setup and tear down of NCAP targets
  • Report product issues in a timely and structured manner using an issue management system (JIRA)

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in self-driving testing or ADAS testing
  • Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle systems and safety features
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
