Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team. As an EMT, you will respond to emergency calls, provide patient care, and navigate ambulances to and from scenes and treatment centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care, including patient stabilization, monitoring, and resuscitation, from the scene to receiving medical facilities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by supervising physicians or registered nurses.
  • Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and clean ambulances as necessary.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, making critical decisions and taking appropriate action.

Requirements:
  • Credentials: Essential - Driver's License, Emergency Medical Technician, Basic Life Support.
  • Other information: Minimum Required Education - HS Diploma or GED. IV Certification if required at the position level. Required Licensure/Certification - National Certification as determined at position level. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Current State Licensure as an EMT. Valid Driver's License. Relevant certification as determined at position level.
