Job Title: HR Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; this is a one-month assignment.

Compensation: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, assess, and maintain personnel files.
  • The HR Specialist will provide administrative support to HR leaders, managing personnel documentation and assisting with routine HR functions under general supervision. Responsibilities may include talent acquisition, compensation analysis, benefits administration, employee engagement, training and development, employee relations, policy formulation, and compliance.
  • Conduct daily operations in various HR functions, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, and workplace safety.
  • Support the coordination of HR events and employee committees as required.
  • Enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention within the organization.
  • Assist in the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, and may aid other departments in evaluating personnel-related reports and decisions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an office setting, ideally in an administrative role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient writing skills with attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
