Position Overview:

As a Permanent Low Voltage Security Systems Operations Manager, you will be integral to our construction operations, overseeing the management and execution of all low voltage security installations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a passion for security technology and construction. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in low voltage security systems, including alarm systems, and demonstrate a successful history in operational management and profit and loss (P&L) oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the setup and upkeep of all low voltage security systems, including burglar alarms.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Lead a team of technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to enhance performance.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure efficient security system operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of security systems, addressing any issues and implementing necessary solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other managers and staff to synchronize operations and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Regularly report on operational performance, financials, and other critical metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, such as Branch Manager or Operations Manager, within the construction sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of low voltage security systems, particularly burglar alarms.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing operations, including profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficient issue resolution.
  • Solid financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering, is preferred.
