**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health RN Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Child Health team at Day Kimball Hospital. As a Per Diem L&D Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Labor and Delivery Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess health status, initiate therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpret findings, and alter plan of care as needed.
  • Implement and evaluate nursing care plans, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their support networks on various topics related to maternal-child health.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within X days, or immediately if required by your shift.
  • Skill set: labor & delivery and post-partum (LRDP) experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a per diem opportunity, with flexible scheduling available to accommodate your needs. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and paid time off.
