Compensation Package
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21-$27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive daily pay advances, allowing you to access your earned wages early. We also provide opportunities for career progression and professional growth.
About the Role
As a Child Development Therapist, you will work directly with Board Certified Behavioral Analysts to provide therapy to children and families in need of support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles;
- Maintaining active participation for the length of the session by engaging in play and keeping up with the energy of the child;
- Accurately recording treatment data on the child's program goals;
- Engaging in and ensuring client safety;
- Maintaining confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED completed;
- At least 6 months of paid working experience with children, have been in a volunteer program with kids, or have ABA experience;
- A smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data and basic technical skills;
- Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience (a plus);
- The ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding process;
- A reliable form of transportation, including a valid driver's license and car insurance;
- The ability to keep up with active children and maintain a professional demeanor.
