Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide direct services to individuals residing in our Residential Program in Dover, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and/or assistance with personal care, daily living activities, and recreational pursuits
- Complete required daily documentation for all services provided
- Drive and accompany individuals to appointments, recreation/leisure activities, or other destinations as assigned
- Administer medication as prescribed
- Implement behavioral programs in accordance with individualized behavior plans
- Interact with individuals in an age-appropriate, respectful, and safe manner at all times
- Maintain confidentiality of individuals' information and records (HIPAA)
- Comply with applicable Caring Hands and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a driver's license valid in the state of New Jersey
- High School diploma or equivalency
- One year related experience working with persons with Disabilities preferred
