As a Senior Software Engineer at CLEAR, your role will encompass the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications aimed at enhancing our platform, which integrates numerous attributes and qualifications while prioritizing member privacy and security.

Your Responsibilities:


Enhance our capabilities across diverse industries and domains while gaining practical experience in privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture.

Produce and deliver code across the entire stack, promoting engineering excellence by establishing best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.

Collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders to identify requirements, innovate, and tackle complex challenges.

Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, making architectural decisions and striving for continuous improvement in technology and processes at CLEAR.


Qualifications:
6+ years of software development experience with JavaScript and related technologies (React, TypeScript).
Experience in cloud-based application development, with proficiency in several of the following:

Cloud service providers such as AWS.
Containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like GitHub, Argo, and Jenkins.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in mentoring and collaborating with less experienced team members.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
A genuine curiosity about technology, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to work autonomously to determine what is essential.

The salary range for this position is $175,500 - $215,000, based on skill levels and experience.

This salary range represents the lower and upper limits of CLEAR's compensation for this role.

Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and performance.

The range provided is just one aspect of CLEAR's overall compensation package, which may also include annual bonuses, commissions, and Restricted Stock Units.
