Automotive Service Advisor

The Automotive Service Writer is a key member of our team at Twin State Ford, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless service experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized service to customers, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Accurately document customer interactions and service requests, ensuring timely and efficient communication with our service technicians.
- Recommend necessary automotive repairs and services to customers, providing clear and concise estimates and explanations.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized service schedule, ensuring timely completion of repairs and services.
- Communicate with service technicians to ensure seamless execution of service plans and timely completion of repairs.
- Keep customers informed of progress and any changes to the service timeline, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Collect payments from customers and handle financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update them as needed, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as an Automotive Service Writer preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, with a strong understanding of diagnostic procedures and repair techniques.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
- Proficient in computer software and technology, with experience in service management systems and customer relationship management tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
