Job Overview
Catholic Charities of Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Program Supervisor-Learning Center Coordinator to develop and implement educational plans in the adult Learning Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with domestic violence survivors, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and with a team.

The Learning Center Coordinator will create curriculum that covers life skills, including self-care, cooking and nutrition, yoga/exercise, DV, parenting, budgeting, home health care, tenants' rights and responsibilities, stress management, ESL, computer skills, resume writing, interviewing, GED prep, etc. This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate with volunteers and professionals who will teach classes, tutor, and mentor individuals. The Coordinator must also foster relationships with community-based organizations to support children who have experienced trauma and offer related mentoring programs.

In addition to developing educational plans, the Learning Center Coordinator will orient new residents to the Learning Center, plan and implement curriculum for all classes, ensure program compliance with GAIN guidelines, evaluate clients upon arrival and prior to exit, administer client satisfaction surveys, empower clients to be involved in Shelter life, and develop savings and budgeting plans. The Coordinator will also maintain the Learning Center calendar, track client attendance, enforce policy as needed, and communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
