Guest Room Quality Assurance Specialist

The Guest Room Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in evaluating designated guest accommodations, ensuring they meet the established standards of cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests. This position also involves supporting the training of Room and House Attendants and stepping in to perform Room or House Attendance tasks as necessary.

Working Hours: 11 am to 7:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and address maintenance concerns.
  • Document inspection findings and update the status of rooms that are ready for guests.
  • Oversee the appropriate use of inventory and supplies.
  • Promptly report any missing items, damages, or maintenance issues in guest rooms.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and courteously.
  • Relay guest feedback and concerns to management for necessary follow-up actions.
  • Assist in coordinating and assigning tasks to Housekeeping staff in the absence of the manager.
  • Adhere to and enforce security protocols.
  • Support the training of new housekeeping personnel as required.
  • Participate in housekeeping duties and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Comply with all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs.
  • Ensure the correct usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment as per training.
  • Inspect cleaning tools and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Follow all key, radio, and security procedures.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests from guests or management promptly and efficiently.
  • Assist with cleaning guest rooms and managing laundry as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in basic English.
  • Solid understanding of all functions related to the housekeeping department.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Excel, Word, and guest management systems.
  • Willingness to learn all company training and safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and hotel operations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
