ROOM ATTENDANT | PALIHOUSE WEST HOLLYWOOD

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest accommodations to provide an exceptional experience for our visitors.

Located on the iconic W 3rd St., Palihouse West Hollywood boasts 95 well-appointed guest rooms, an inviting indoor/outdoor pool lounge, and a Lobby Lounge, Café, and Bar that welcomes both locals and travelers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Upholding immaculate, sanitary, and orderly hotel environments, including guest rooms, communal areas, and staff facilities.
  • Updating and replacing displayed materials such as menus and postcards in guest rooms.
  • Carefully maintaining furniture, fixtures, and flooring by adhering to cleaning protocols and utilizing suitable products.
  • Executing cleaning tasks for guest rooms as directed by supervisors, prioritizing based on guest arrivals.
  • Disposing of waste materials appropriately.
  • Performing all necessary duties to ensure tidy guest rooms, including changing used towels, and cleaning surfaces such as mirrors, sinks, and floors.
  • Restocking facial tissues, toilet paper, and bathroom supplies in the correct locations.
  • Inspecting bathrobes for cleanliness and replacing as needed.
  • Changing out soiled bed linens and making beds with fresh linens.
  • Cleaning closets and door tracks in check-out rooms, ensuring they are free of dust and debris.
  • Ensuring proper arrangement of hangers and additional bedding items.
  • Dusting and polishing all furniture surfaces.
  • Adjusting furniture to align with the designated floor plan.
  • Opening drawers and doors in check-out rooms for thorough cleaning and removal of any guest belongings.
  • Checking under beds and furniture for debris and removing it.
  • Inspecting furniture for any damage and reporting issues to supervisors.
  • Cleaning upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.
  • Dusting decorative items, frames, and mirrors.
  • Cleaning electronic devices and ensuring they are functioning correctly.
  • Wiping down surfaces in mini bars and ensuring they are properly stocked and secured.
  • Adapting to a flexible work schedule based on hotel occupancy and operational needs.
  • Adhering to uniform standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, with physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Willingness to work various shifts as required.
