Submarine Launcher Logistics Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Depot Repair Logistician and Hardware Manager to join our team at Raytheon Field Engineering in Portsmouth, RI. This role will be responsible for coordinating all activities required to repair and upgrade Weapon Interface Modules (WIMs) used in the Virginia, Seawolf, and Collins Class Submarines' Weapon Launch Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports on the progress of each module as it moves through the repair process.
- Report all problems encountered and provide corrective actions aimed at re-establishing program repair objectives.
- Induct units into PRISM, define and disseminate repair/upgrade requirements to team members, calculate cost estimates to repair and obtain materials, track budgets to ensure overruns are managed, track and synchronize failure analyses, manufacturing engineering, and test engineering work flows, generate waiver requests, coordinate system-level testing at Raytheon and Navy facilities, and track all other activities conducted to deliver the product to the fleet.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Direct experience with Weapon Interface Module Repair Cycle, AN/BYG-1 Seawolf, VA & Collins Weapon Launchers, FRACAS Failure Analysis, Configuration Management, Government DD149 Delivery Process, and Government's IUID Usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Circuit Card Assembly and Repair.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Data Management and logistics.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting Techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
