Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and train direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Continuously improve operational procedures, including inventory management and shipping/receiving processes
  • Partner with sales, inventory control, and operations support teams to ensure product availability
  • Plan labor needs based on sales forecasts and input from management
  • Facilitate achievement of company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding cost, productivity, customer service, profits, and team member performance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend solutions to management
  • Build and maintain partnerships with other departments, including Finance, HR, Sales, and Continuous Improvement
Requirements
  • 5 years of warehouse operations or direct warehouse management experience
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Demonstrated management skills, including guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and wear personal protective equipment
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work a flexible schedule
