Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Long Island Vision Management. As the front line of patient care, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Salary & Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly pay rate of $22.00. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, company-paid life insurance, long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, and retirement plan - 401(k).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, collect demographics, answer questions, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information.
  • Oversee daily administrative tasks to ensure office efficiency.
  • Communicate with patients, internal teams, and providers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Maintain HIPAA regulations, process health insurance inquiries, and support office needs.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Above-average customer service skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the medical field highly desirable.
