Mammography Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately produce mammographic images per protocol, making appropriate technical adjustments for body size and habitus, age, and past medical history.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety principles for both patients and self and provide radiation protection when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements:
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Mammography Certification required, or eligible for certification.
  • Previous experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems preferred.
