*Job Summary:*

The largest independently owned GYN practice in the Georgia is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate *Mammography Technologist* to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic imaging tests to help diagnose and treat breast cancer and other breast-related conditions. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

*Duties:*

-Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of the breast tissue.
-Position patients and ensure their comfort during imaging procedures.
- Explain the imaging process to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
-Review patient medical records and consult with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnosis.
-Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
-Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
-Participate in quality control measures to ensure the highest level of patient care.

*Experience:*

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Familiarity with ER procedures and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
- Proficiency in mammography, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Certification in mammography is required.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment, as needed.

*Skills:*

- Strong knowledge of mammography and diagnostic imaging principles.
- Experience with CT scans and other advanced imaging modalities.
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in mammography.

*Must be extremely dependable.*
