Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively within the organization.
  • Engage in architectural and engineering planning, including space management and installation oversight.
  • Prepare and evaluate operational reports and schedules for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Establish departmental goals and timelines.
  • Oversee environmental, industrial health, and safety programs specific to semiconductor fabrication operations.
  • Develop, plan, and implement policies related to environmental health and safety, including procedures for chemical safety, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning environmental safety and liaise with relevant agencies.
  • Assist in the assessment of chemicals and processes to ensure compliance and mitigate EHS impacts.
  • Act as the primary contact for emergency response teams and manage the administration of the workers' compensation program.
  • Analyze performance trends to set objectives within the EHS program.
  • Lead initiatives for positive change to align with business goals across various company locations.
  • Support Fab Operations and relevant product groups in managing change activities, including equipment installation and process safety reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with company leadership regarding all EHS-related incidents, ensuring timely updates until root causes and corrective actions are identified.
  • Provide governance to ensure that accurate root cause analyses and preventive measures are implemented.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in common business software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access.
  • Essential skills include leadership, communication, prioritization, and documentation management.

ITAR/EAR Compliance:

This role requires lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information, necessitating that candidates meet specific criteria including U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fab leadership to enhance EHS programs continuously.
  • May oversee a safety team operating on a 24/7 schedule.
  • Serve as a leader for safety committee members and various departments to ensure effective execution of EHS initiatives.
  • Participate as a site emergency responder.
