Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled EHS/CHO Specialist to join our team at Pajarito Powder LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and enforcing safety procedures, complying with all Federal, State, and Local regulations, and developing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations related to chemical safety and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency
  • Investigate accidents, determine root cause, and implement measures to prevent recurrence
  • Create and provide EHS training to employees
  • Maintain accurate records of safety procedures and compliance

Requirements:

  • BS in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in EHS role
  • Advanced knowledge of Chemical Safety and Regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, mitigation, problem-solving, and risk management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
