Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our MedMark Treatment Centers team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that physicians' medication orders are accurately enacted within specified timeframes, including delivery to external facilities.
  • Oversee Medical Services operations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or unlicensed personnel who possess the necessary competencies.
  • Communicate closely with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Schedule and participate in Treatment Teams, Panel Reviews, Department Head meetings, and General Staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Nurture a positive and productive team environment by managing time clocks, developing and managing schedules, conducting performance improvement activities, and preparing monthly reports.
  • Resolve client clinical complaints and intervene in crisis situations as needed.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Maryland, with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine is preferred.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in record keeping while adhering to HIPAA, federal, state, and CARF standards and regulations.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies in a multicultural community.
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, basic addiction medicine science, and community health and welfare resources.
  • Showcase ability to carry out written and oral instructions, exercise judgment in applying nursing care, accept and utilize supervision, work cooperatively with others, maintain objectivity, and exercise tact and initiative.
  • Display proficiency in using EMR and Microsoft Suite software.
  • Pass a satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

The salary range for this position is $28.00 to $29.23 annualized. The compensation package includes:
